Team Leader Charlie Chang Started out as an intern at a sushi restaurant then worked his way up to be a sushi chef. He then joined the United States Marine Corps and went on two tours of deployments during his enlistment. After his service in the Marines, he then began his career in sales/marketing while working for company such as Honda, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, where he learned exceptional customer service. Then he left the sales industry to pursue his dream which is to become a restaurateur. In which feeds his true passion of being a ultimate foodie.

Executive chef Jason Liao brings over 10 years of experience to the Texas sushi scene. Liao has deep roots in Austin and Houston, where he has garnered myriad accolades and awards for his work in the kitchen. Liao has been featured in Austin 360, ATX food news, Houstonia Magazine’s Top 38 Best New Restaurants, Houston Press Top 25 Best New Restaurants, #1 Reason to visit Sugar Land on Zagat, amongst several other major publications.In his new role as “Executive Pokeologist,” Liao will be developing deliciously innovative and elevated versions of the Hawaiian staple.
